qualifying as a
Chartered Accountant in 1983, Chris Lavis started the practice in
December
1987, working from the front room at home in Stonehouse,
Gloucestershire. Over
the next 18 years Chris Lavis & Co. moved offices twice and
grew to be the
largest firm in town, with most clients coming from personal
recommendation. We
down-sized and relocated to
Bridport in August 2006, when the majority of our Stonehouse-based
clients were
transferred to another local firm. |

| We provide a wide range of professional services to clients in Dorset, Devon and Somerset as well as across the UK (and some resident abroad). We are now a very small local practice and therefore can keep our overheads in check meaning that our rates are very competitive, as well as being able to provide a personal service backed with over 20 years of experience. | ||
